Jo Snyder is a Canadian folk/punk musician. Throughout the late 90s and early 2000 she toured extensively with her Winnipeg-based band Sixty Stories (Smallman Records, The Company with the Golden Arm), and then later on with Anthem Red. After grad school and a move to Toronto, Snyder has slowed down the full-band touring and released a 7 inch of solo music on The Company with the Golden Arm (Hamburg). She’s always loved visiting her friends in Germany and playing shows. Her last three solo tours were in Germany in 2009 and 2010. She’s currently working on a new solo full length, due out in 2013.

1234V

1234V is a Canadian zine about incidental and anecdotal stories about vaginas. It was created by Jo Snyder and Sarah Michaelson in 2005. The zine is a beloved project between two friends and a national community of writers. It comes out semi-annually, and keeps alive the tradition of DIY publishing while at the same time aims to create a high-level, yet crass, funny, and well-written dialogue about what goes into, and comes out of, vaginas.
